Healing Space Uganda is in Katovu, Lwengo District: Our focus is on holding space and counseling to survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking and violence.
We empower our clients to make their voices heard, make their own decisions, and to be in control of their own individual healing journeys.
We provide resources as well as advocacy in medical settings, police stations, a court of law, and anywhere our clients want us to be present with them.
If there are funds available, we will provide accommodation in emergency situations that include assistance with bills and rent for those who may need housing. It is our mission to support and help clients we serve in the best way possible. These services are open to everyone regardless of age, color, culture, and faith.
Confidentiality is of the utmost importance for Healing Space Uganda Limited, to ensure privacy and safety for clients, staff, and those who collaborate with our program. In the cities we will provide prevention services in the cities and rural areas; the goal is to eradicate or reduce the causation of sexual assault, human trafficking and violence in the communities we serve, by examining what is driving these behaviors.
We help orphans in Uganda by offering essential resources such as education, healthcare, food, and shelter. Through community support and targeted programs, we aim to restore hope, ensure safety, and empower these children to break free from poverty and create better futures for themselves and their communities.
We will help and empower elderly folks in the cities, rural areas, and across Uganda who may not have resources, this will also be contingent upon our funding. Healing Space Uganda Limited is seated on the Paradise on top of the hills. The space is unique, beautiful, and a place to relax the mind. It is also a great retreat from busy daily activities; perfect for those who want to connect with nature, rest, and recharge.
We offer activities, camping, campfire gatherings (individual or group), sightseeing, and bird watching. We will arrange tours to our National Parks that include Lake Mburo, Bwindi Impenetrable Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Lake Bunyonyi and others.
